PRECAUTIONS

5. When the repair work is completed, return the ignition switch to the

″LOCK″ position before connecting

the battery cables. (At this time, the steering lock mechanism will engage.)

6. Perform a self-diagnosis check of all control units using CONSULT-III.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Remove the power window main switch finisher (2) from the

door finisher LH. Refer to

INT-11, "Removal and Installation"

.

2. Using a suitable tool (A), remove the screws from the power win-

dow main switch (1), then release from the finisher (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

2. Using a suitable tool (A), release the tabs and remove the rear

power window switch (2).
