KEYLESS BEEPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the mud gurde.
3. Remove the BOLTS.
4. Disconnect the connector, then remove the

keyless acxuuw00002518eper.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Driver-side/passenger-side

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front door trim. (See 09-17-20 FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove the front outer handle. (See 09-14-8 FRONT OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Remove the screws A, then remove the handle seat and plate.
5. Remove screw B, then remove the request switch.

Liftgate

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the nut, then remove the request switch from the liftgate.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

• If not as specified, replace the request switch.

Note

• The sunroof switch is together with the front map light.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the map light from the headliner. (See 09-18-22 MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Inspect for continuity between the sunroof switch

terminals using an ohmmeter.

• If not as specified, replace the sunroof switch.

1. Fully open the glass panel.
2. Press the spring in the direction shown by the

arrow and remove it from the hook.

3. Remove the deflector.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
