d. Install the intermediate lever with bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
3. INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
a. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable to the rear axle carrier with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)

b. Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable to the intermediate lever and install the 5 bolts.
Torque: for bolt A
19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
for bolt B
14 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:
Do not bend and twist the parking brake cable.

4. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE LEVER LH (see REASSEMBLY )
5. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE SHOE ASSEMBLY LH (see REASSEMBLY )
6. INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE SHOE ASSEMBLY LH (see REASSEMBLY )
7. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE RETURN SPRING LH (see REASSEMBLY )
8. CHECK PARKING BRAKE INSTALLATION (see REASSEMBLY )
9. INSTALL REAR DISC LH (See INSTALLATION )
10. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE (see REASSEMBLY )
11. CONNECT REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH (see REASSEMBLY )
12. INSTALL REAR WHEEL LH
Torque: for aluminum wheel
131 N*m (1336 kgf*cm, 97 ft.*lbf)
for steel wheel
209 N*m (2131 kgf*cm, 154 ft.*lbf)
13. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
a. Install the clamp with the bolt (labeled A).

b. Install the No. 2 parking brake cable to the rear axle carrier with the bolt.

c. Connect the No. 2 parking brake cable to the intermediate lever (labeled B) and install the 5 bolts
(labeled C and D).
Torque: for bolt C
19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
for bolt D
14 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
d. Connect the No. 2 parking brake cable to the 2 clamps (labeled E).
NOTE:
Do not bend and twist the parking brake cable.

14. INSTALL NO. 2 CABLE RETAINER
a. Install the retainer with the bolt.
Torque: 13 N*m (127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)
