Side Design
A flowing, expressive side silhouette.
The best feature of the side view is intended to be the door side (front fender to rear
fender) surface structure which dynamically and emotionally in a way that has never been
seen before.
The roof line gently flows into the rear, contributing to a beautiful side view.
Sharp character lines create dynamic proportions, while at the same time fusing with the
rear quarter pillar to yield a lovely three-dimensional curved line.
To ensure quietness, a sash-type door has been adopted. A sense of sportiness is expressed
through a shape like that of a hard-top.

SRS Airbag System
SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbags, SRS side airbags and SRS curtain-shield
airbags have been installed to help provide supplemental restraint for the driver and passenger
in a severe collision. The SRS airbags, SRS side airbags and SRS curtain shield airbags
are activated in the event of a collision respectively to help ease the effects of the impact
to the head and chest area of both the driver and passenger who are wearing seat belts
properly.
Dual-stage SRS airbags system, that controls the airbag inflating output optimum by judging
the extent of impact, seat position and whether or not the seat belt is fasten, has been
adopted for the driver and front passenger airbags.
